Celestron Nexstar 5se replacement tripod

Hello forum.

I have purchased a Nexstar 5se and it comes without the tripod.

Does anyone know where I can source a replacement from ? I've seen some for several hundred pounds and I'd rather not spend that much right now.

Hello and thanks for the link. I've seen this tripod advertised aleady and will probably end up buying it, just wondering if there are any other options for this scope as well.

You might like to consider using a s/h surveyors tripod, which would be a far cheaper solution, but a more sold mounting for the scope. You would, of course, need to make a suitable adapter plate for mounting purposes. These can be found in various degrees of condition and price from Ebay
