Projector help

The new Adur Astronomic Society Projector is in need of a Projector to show Astro images to its members. We are borrowing one at the moment but should have one of our own. Being new we have not he cash to lash out on a top grade Projector ( £1600 + ) Can anyone recommend a reasonable priced one with the features we need for imaging, high resolution etc.

How's the one you're borrowing stand up? If you find it suitable for your needs, could you see about purchasing the same one? (Unless it's over-budget).

What are the specs of it? Is the projecter going to be used with the lights on, or in a light room? How large does the image need to be, and how far back can you put it?

Semi dark room - Screen 2.5m square - projection distance 10 to 30 ft
