Seeing double

I've just been to have a look at jupiter with my Bresser 10x50's and I am seeing two images of everything. Checked it wasn't my eyes with my other pair of 8x40 bins which were fine. Has the cheap nature of these bins finally showed itself?

I'd definitely say they were out of collimation, have they been dropped at all?

I don't recall dropping them, but they have been in my conservatory for a while and it can get warm in there when the sun hits it, could that upset them?

Just checked out that link, looks like just what I need, seems very possible that the heat in the conseratory may have softened the prism glue and they have shifted a bit.

Now where are my jewellers screwdrivers?
