Probably just interference fit and glued.  Knock them out with a mallet

Whatever fit they are they are non movable. I asked an engineer neighbour, he believes the feet are installed by a hydraulic press and impossible to remove without beating the life out of them. I decided to cut 3" off each leg and could see the feet have been inserted by 2" and appear to be some type of alloy. Now I can split the tube to remove the feet in case they are wanted at a later date.

I use these on a CPC 1100 .There is a sl gap between the tripod legs and the "cylinder cups" on the wheels so you need to make sure the bolts are screwed up tight otherwise the cups twist round when you move the scope . But generally v pleased -   makes moving the scope MUCH easier
