Ancient Egyptian Constellations etc.

Not sure if we have mentioned them. But as an Ancient (sic?) Egyptophile
some of their vivid (if not literal!) Constellation imagery sticks in my mind.

Leo, Orion, Taurus... Eridanus? Despite the typically stylistic  approach to
"Graphics" some remarkably familiar ideas here? Hey, "Great minds" etc. 

Idem the classic "Dendra Zodiac" (later Hellenistic-Egyptian times?) etc. Those guys were
clearly no slouches at calculating *Heliacal Risings* (I had to revisit the definition) etc.

Hi Chris. I like how neatly theses constellations are packed. Everything fits in a nicely organized rectangular pattern.

In case you haven't come across it before, Stellarium's Starlore includes Egyptian and many other constellation patterns.
