Skymax 127

Recommended Posts

I've had the Skywatcher 6" refractor and it was very big, pretty heavy and could be a bit awkward to use.

The Maks are a revelation after that. Compact and light. Sharp, contrasty and hold their collimation really well. Just that cool down time is an issue.

I have been offered a swap for my C6-R+CG5 Mount for a ETX125 complete setup i am tempted it has to be said also it HTC coatings too. Mainly want a scope for planetry because i am more than happy with the 102ST for deep sky.

What do you think a good deal or not?..

Plus it's worth a lot more than my setup could always sell it on later and get a Skymax150 N Mount..mmmmmmmmmmmmm?
