I have received this notification of several lectures to be held at Jodrell Bank, this coming weekend.

'Just a reminder about the talks coming up this weekend at Jodrell Bank.

Tickets are 5 pounds for each event and must be booked in advance by

telephoning the Jodrell Visitor Centre on 01477 571339.

Fri 13th June 7:30pm

Piers Bizony - The Culture of Spaceflight

The award-winning science journalist and space historian will talk about

humankind's journey into space.

Sat 14th June 7:30pm

Brian Aldiss - Science & Civilization

The celebrated science fiction author will discuss his views on science

in the shadow of the iconic Lovell Telescope.

There will be a bar and bookshop and authors will be available for book

signings after their talks. Please spread the word!
