Gran Canaria Astro tours

Heading off to the canaries later in the spring and I notice there are a couple of companies promoting astronomy / stargazing evenings out there. Has anyone done this and if do a s it worth the cost ( currently 70 euros for two) . Thanks in advance

 I took one of these trips a few years ago and yes I thought it was well worth the money. Having said that if you can get yourself away from the light pollution of the resorts you can make the most of the lovely Southern skies.

Thank laudropb appreciated, did your trip go up into the mountains and have access to a telescope? The one I'm looking at is currently billed as the no 1 thing to do in GC on trip advisor so should be ok
