Stellarium killer

I love Stellarium, its free and awesome. Is it really worth paying for the commercial planetarium rivals e.g. Starry Night? What more can they do?

Between them, Stellarium and Cartes du Ciel do everything I need. There's also a new program out, C2A. I still have to try that.

One thing I would want Stellarium to be able to do though, is solar system event predictions for conjunctions, occulltations, etcetera. Redshift (payware) can do that. I haven't used Redshift since version 3, nor The Sky X since 10 years or so.

C2A looks good! I like the observation planning feature.
