Stellarium For Mac, Does It Also Install Malware? Virus?

I know stellarium is free but like any other software downloads from sourceforge or any download website, they also install malware and other unwanted software without you knowing. Does that happen with Stellarium as well?

I believe so.  I thought it was a very poor software solution on my Mac.  I use Sky Safari Pro 5, its much better but of course not free.

I didn't find it included any "extras" when I downloaded it on my mac.  And I like it.  I have put my own landscape in which is really useful because I can see what would be hidden behind various trees, buildings etc.  But I have to admit that I don't use it to control my telescope - all that is done by Cares du Ciel through windows XP running as a virtual machine on the mac.
