Carson IS 100 universal smartphone adaptor test.

I just bought a Carson universal smartphone adaptor on a whim today. It seems like a pretty cool device. It's advertised for binoculars, spotting scopes, and believe it or not... Telescopes. It obviously won't be as high quality images as some of the ones here, but I am the curious type and want to test it. I'm not expecting DSO's. Maybe some planet imaging, moon would be easy, and possibly push the limits with the Orion Nebula, and the Pleiades. I have an app on my phone that lets you control the camera just like a manual DSLR. The adaptor has great reviews all around. The lowest rating I've found was 3/5 stars with only 3 reviews. The others were all 4/5 stars with 10+ reviews. As soon as it gets clear again, I'll take some test shots and post the results. Clear skies!
