Stellarium telescope control OSX

So i've read lots of posts suggesting that I have some settings for a telescope connection in stellarium.. However I cant find the option when i open telescopes it just lets me set a focal length and aperture.

Am I missing something or have they removed this function from the program?

Have you set the telescope control plugin to run at startup (configuration > plugins)?

It sounds like you are changing settings in the oculars plugin which just simulates the view through your telescope.

Thanks found it now! Just the small issue of instant pinwheel of death when i connect. Can run it from windows ok possibly El Capitan is too new for the plugin at the moment
