I have a set of Baader (linked) arriving tomorrow and wonder if they have or need and IR/UV protection, in the same filter wheel i have a set of Baader  LRGB CCD filter which do have IR/UV built in so if i use a 2" IR/UV filter in the Coma Corrector will having the filter twice make any difference should the Narrowband not have IR/UV but do need it.....

Looking at the Ha they block from 300nm (UV) up to 1150nm (IR) with the exception of the narrow bit you want.

The OIII is the same the filter curves block from 300nm to 1100nm except for the OIII bit.

I assume the remainder are the same.

So they should therefore be blocking the UV+IR, or more correctly reflecting the UV+IR back and not allowing it to pass through to the ccd.
