Cheap Focal Reducer

Has anyone used one of the cheap (£5) 0.5x focal reducers that you can get from China?, 

 Ive used cheap 2x barlows before and got very good results!

Hi 'Ampthill'.

I have an AstroEngineering 0.6x focal reducer that screws into a 1.25" eyepiece. I have tried it on terrestrial targets and it seems to work, though no astronomical targets at present.

I have one but i dont use it as its not very good, and they only seem to work on longer focal length scopes
