This data is actually pre- 'first light' :-)  in as much as it was captured on the 1st Nov, but it was not callibrating well. However, after an issue with my filterwheel, which necessitated dismantling it, I had to generate a new Flats library. The old library was generated with the focuser in the wrong position so the flats didn't actually work that well and this M31 had a persistent donut in the middle. This data is correct in that respect but sadly there are a couple of new dust bunnies (and old ones removed). Still, overall an improvement but that's why there are still a couple of defects - it's not possible to do anything about those now. I do like this big sensor, able to capture the whole of M31 now while retaining excellent resolution (4096x4096).
