barkis
Hi. Paul, I can't comment on that particular manufacturer, but I do like refractors. I have a couple of small Apo's 80mm and 66mm, and I love em both. But I love my 6" refractor as well, and I get some excellent astronomy from it. I'm sure the people you refer to are excellent at producing refractors.Great article MD. I read it with a deal of interest. I was particularly pleased to read that there are some large Achromat users who are not phased by chromatic aberration. I have a 150mm f8 frac. and it also has colour fringes, but it doesn't bother me one bit. It don't spoil the great views I get from the instrument. Ron. GazOC
There are a lot of D&G owners on Cloudynights. Have you tried their refractor forum?
