In many ways I suppose this is the "Golden Age" of Astronomy - we can still see large parts of the Universe. If cosmic inflation continues to increase, then all but the local cluster of galaxies will pass beyond the "horizon" as everything else will be moving away faster than light (or rather the space in between will be expanding faster). So no way to determine there was a Big Bang any more, no use for a Hubble constant and no need for the Cosmological Constant... we live in interesting times.
