Joseki
Sunday is gardening day, or at least I did a token bit of attacking the weeds before setting up my new Lunt 35 (b400) from Telescope House (customer return so almost the same price as a used PST). After briefly owning a Quark (but had to return that) last year I was a bit worried about being underwhelmed .. but I'm not at all and the quick setup time for this is ideal for me. I spent a very enjoyable half hour observing the large filament and proms and some surface detail - exactly as advertised. Best of all, my son (5) hopped on my knee for a peek before going back to his weeding 5 minutes later he was back again for another look and asking whether the "fluffy bits" (proms) were shooting out of the Sun and coming towards us - brill, that's what's it's all about.
