sharp moon photos with skyliner 200p

struggling to get decent moon photos with my 200p

I've got

200p

pentax k-01 with t-ring adapter

1.25" t adapter

barlow lens which unscrews the lens

32mm revelation eyepiece projection lens

what ive tried :

t-adaptor straight into the focuser - no focus

t-ring screwed onto the 32mm eyepiece and then into the focuser and its not focusing sharply, i can adjust the eyepiece up and down it has a slider thing on it but it just doesnt have enough travel to get sharp focus

t-ring screwed onto 32mm and then into barlow with no lens on it and it looks like it focuses the middle of the moon but the edges go out of focus so hard to get it properly in focus, good for adjusting how much of the moon to get in the shot but the not being totally focussed makes it a waste of time [http://i.imgur.com/dz9pY5n.jpg / http://i.imgur.com/RVBbjtw.jpg]

t adaptor screwed onto t-ring and then in the barlow with no lens, this gives decent focus but its a bit too zoomed in not much use for the eclipse tomorrow am looking for a nice crisp picture of the whole moon [http://i.imgur.com/R4mO0xc.jpg]

at this rate will be better off using a tripod and camera on its own or afocal

How far are you short of focus with the DSLR at prime focus (just with the T-ring onto the focuser).

This sounds a bit radical, but it's really not as scary as that.  If you can get pretty close to focus but you're a few millimetres short of inwards focuser travel you can potentially use the collimation bolts (or get slightly longer ones) to move the primary mirror up the tube a little.  That will have the effect of moving the focal plane "out" of the focuser, which might well get your camera to focus.
