Cheap as chips scope cover

This is what I use for my FSQ and camera on an AZ EQ6. OK, it's not the strongest piece of plastic sheeting I've seen, but for keeping the dew off scopes it's superb, and for £1.58 !!!

Does it breath though? If it does not and the scope and electrics are under it for some time it may cause dampness to get into the electronics. It is the so called sweating that will be the enemy then. Saving a few pennies on a cover may be detrimental to thousands of pounds worth of scope and mount!

Still if only on for very short time why not. Quick to fit I would think.

I use a plant cover I got from B&Q for £1 on sale. Its breathable and is designed to keep dew and bugs off plants, its not waterproof but why would your scope be out in the rain anyway?
