IC1396 is a big object, this image was shot at 135mm focal length to try and capture some the surounding dust and star fields. Don't know why but I left the lens wide open at F2.8 and ended up with huge blue bloat on the stars which was hard to process out. Only on the very last sub did I realise the error and change to a more sensible F4.

IC1396 Cepheus- 5 x 600s subs, Nikon 80-200mm lens at 135mm & F2.8, Fuji S5 Pro DSLR @ ISO2000, dark sky site in Mid Wales.
