Messier 81 & Messier 82 Widefield

So I recently got myself a HEQ5 mount and last night decided to put my DSRL on it to see what I could do.

I just used my 55-250mm Canon Lens to take 15 x 120 sec subs at ISO 800 and then stacked with 10 Dark Frames

Overall, as this is only the 2nd time I have ever conducted a Polar Alignment I am pretty chuffed that at 2 mins it still seems reasonably okay.

I did conduct a crop as well.

I'm liking the wide field view. Great for seeing galaxies in a different context too. 2 minutes without guiding is very good!
