3D printer and truss dob

Has anyone tried before to build parts of a truss tube dobsonian with a 3d printer? Is it possible? Do we know the materials and the cost? If there is another topic/post similar to my question pls link it.

If you want to thread bits or apply loads to bits then they might not be up to the job. Try it out and see how it works. I have made dew heater boxes, filter and laser holders.
