Finishing off O'Meara's "Hidden Treasures"

Having overcome recent laziness (reasonable-ish nights missed!) I finally

knuckled down to finish off some of Steve O'Meara's "Hidden Treasures".

(Although primary for "Visual Astronomers", I've warmed to his books!) :)

I reckon, with basic 100 x 5.12s integrations, a 110 object "Marathon"

now takes me about SEVEN dedicated nights. Almost commensurate

with the annual number of clear nights in the UK... But I jest (mostly) ;)

As ever, you never have the "right" focal length scope on the mount! :o

But I now have a (very?) mixed bag of "reference images" to improve!

At an 8" f/4 Newt image scale, I liked the following best (of a dozen!)  :p

These images are post-processed 100 x 5.12s with the Watec 910HX.

X095 (NGC6712)

A "rather typical" globular, but not without interest / charm?

X098 (NGC6819)

Open cluster. Is it a Fox head or an Octopus... You decide!

X100 (NGC6866)

Open Cluster. I can see this one as a (Pirate) Frigate Bird!

X103 (NGC7008)

The "Fetus" Nebula? :o But then I thought "Aphex Twin"!  :D

P.S.

Casual, serendipitous Neptune and Triton? (I hope!)

And Uranus and (two Innermost) friends... probably!
