2x2 Binned exposure times ??

If I take Lum subs binned 1x1 at say 600 seconds but choose to bin the RGB subs - what length should my RGB subs be ??

I have read 25 percent of lum length but given the RGB filters only let about a third of the light through that the lum filter does that sounds like very little??

I have also read that the 2x2 RGB subs should be half the lum length and somewhere else that they should be equal !!!

Any thoughts ??

PS - do I need the same number of RGB subs as Lum subs ??
