Reducer for Meade 127 triplet

I get some nice images but f7.5 is a little slow in narrowband I have been looking for a reducer and wonder if the explore scientific one for their 127 will be a perfect match as I assumes it's pretty much the same scope. If it will work I'll buy one but don't want to mess up the perfect flat field I have. Anyone have any experience of this combination..?

I use the Teleskop Express Photoline .79 reducer on my Altair 115 triplet. It's probably overkill (in terms of imaging circle) for my Atik 428 sensor, but it works very well.
