Just to reiterate what Olly was saying, it doesn't make sense to use SCNR to tone down the green in my original HST image. Afterall, I've mapped Ha to the green channel so if I apply SCNR I'm effectively removing some of my hard earnt signal! Lesson learnt.

By following the guidelines in http://bf-astro.com/hubbleP.htmI'm able to achieve the Hubble turquoise and gold motif relatively easily, using the Photoshop Selective Color tool.

I think I'll stop now. Processing this image has been great fun and I've learnt a lot  :smiley:
