Dew control 130 pds using RC secondary heater

Hi folks, I was wondering if anybody uses the Kendrick Dew Heater for Ritchey Chretien Secondary Mirror for the primary on the 130pds?

I can't find a pad smaller than 8" and thought it might give it more control than a dew band from the outside of the OTA?
