Advice on Star Gazing intro Workshop

Hi,

I am doing a basic Star Gazing workshop for 1-5days in Matheran (a hill station near Mumbai)

1. Any help with any printable literature.

2. Any goods blogs that I can recommend for info on basic Astro photography and basic processing.

3. Any particular app for planetarium. I was thinking of Carte du Sky, or Stellarium.

I might have access to a 12" Schmidt cassegrain on an EQ mount. A new set up that Is going to be permanent obsy.
