Repairing Astrozap dew shield

Has anyone repaired one where the wire has been pulled out? I have a dew shield for my c9.25 and due to the dreaded cord wrap (which seems to be happening to me a lot lately!) the 12v wire has been pulled out. I've opened up the shield a bit but it is not obvious how the wire connects. Any help appreciated
