Celestron se4 and se8.

Can I mount a celestron se8 optical tube on the tripod and mount of my se4 ??

The 4SE and the 8SE are on different mounts.

The 4SE and the 5SE share the lightweight one and the 6SE and 8SE share the heavier one.

It has been said that the 8SE is too heavy for the mount it is on so putting the 8SE OTA on the light weight mount is likely to be a problem.
