DSS being annoying

Just tried to run some DSLR RAWs of Lovejoy through DSS  and it says it cant see any stars when I can see them, played with the star detection threshold thingy but didn't make any difference.

Worked OK on the last lot of Lovejoy and these ones stack in Maxim with no problem.
