greglloyd
We have a lovely transparent sky this morning and although I was not out observing, I was however out in the back garden a short while ago and noticed Saturn shining nicely to the south :-)It's pretty low this year though. That's going to be a challenge from my garden this year as there are two houses right in that direction and by the looks of it, it will only just clear the roofs this year which is not ideal for seeing conditions. michael.h.f.wilkinson
Yes, it is going to be a difficult Saturn season. It will be hiding behind trees, and the missus wants to go to Scotland this summer, rather than southern France or Italy (which would have raised Saturn 9 or 10 degrees).
