Powering a 12v mount - An Alternative?

Just came across this on amazon:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/20000mAh-Multi-Voltage-Portable-Notebooks-Compatible-Silver/dp/B00BUJCMUQ/ref=sr_1_15?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1420540672&sr=1-15&keywords=power+bank+multi+voltage

It has a 12v 4amp output by the looks of it and has 20ah compared the 7ah of the similar priced Skywatcher powertank. Would it work with 12v mounts?

Saw them some time ago think they first came up about a year back.

Never quite made up my mind if they would work or not, I think I would likely use the 16v option and build a voltage regulator to get back to 12v.

Thinking was that if the 12v direct dropped then the mount could stop, whereas if I was pulling 16v (for shorter) then it should stay high enough to give a stable 12v for a longer period of use.

Sort of 12v dropping to 11v could mean dead mount, 16v dropping to 14v via a 12v regulator means it still works.
