M31 from Redzone

The 6th astro image I've taken. #5 was garage, but I learned that the 450d doesn't like mirror lockup as it causes intolerable amp glow.  Did I over do the final color stretch?  Too much blue/purple?  And I know I need a flattener on the list.

I lowered the green and it seems better. Maybe.

This is very nice , I have run the HLVG filter on this and it cleared it up.

Moon and Clouds so, learning to process by reprocessing again and again.

All I really have to go on is other images online and what I think looks interesting.  I assume those with lots of experience know what is hard and hence is good. But for a freshman like myself its all guesswork at this point.
