November 19, 2014: Bear paw on the sun

Just managed to grab a 10 minute clear spell. Prominence-wise, not much happening, except for a pale, thin strand high up in the north-west. Several nice filaments grace the disk, but the big AR is clearly taking centre stage. It really looks like a bear paw, with one big pad, and 4 smaller ones above, all surrounded by a penumbra and a load of snaking filaments and plage areas. Really nice view from the LS35.
