A Little help please

Hi,this is my first Post i have been following SGL for a few months now and it has been very helpful Reading.

I have a Meade etx 125 and a gso 250 deluxe dob and am saveing for a Skywatcher AZ EQ6 for my first dabble in Ap, in the Meantime i Want to try a bit of AP and Need a bit of help the Etx is not steady enough for my nikon 7000 the dob forget it so i am thinking of the

iOptron SmartEQ Pro or the Skywatcher Star Adventurer,I was wondering if i get the ioptron how would i do a Star alignment without a scope attatched just the Nikon ?

Forget the Nikon on the ETX, put a webcam in place of the eyepiece ands get a video of Jupiter and process that.

You align the mount not the scope - forget the scope - the SmartEQ Pro comes with a polar scope to perform polar alignment.

I know u align the mount,but if i want to use the goto on the ipotron u have to do a 1,2 or 3 Star alignment ,how Do u do that without a scope mounted.i have a qhy 5 Il for the Etx
