Suggested sub length for Pacman?

I'm hoping to have another go at NGC 281, The Pacman Nebula using my Meg 90 and 0.8 FR for a FL of 497 mm and SX 694 camera.

What sort of exposure time would people suggest for framing? I could expose with just the L filter or the Ha NB filter to bring it out. I need to be able to see the wretched thing for framing before deciding on a sub length for imaging. ATM I think 600 sec will be about the longest I can safely take.

Many thanks Olly

I was hoping that it would clear tonight but it's still cloudy. The 'scope is still set up ready to go. I haven't given up hope for tonight yet, but there are still technical things to do with the rig yet, focus, and alignment mainly.

The only lights in the sky are from the locals letting off fireworks.
