Venus & Mercury

anyone had any luck with these two yet this month? supposed to be visible in the southern sky in the morning before bout 9 or ten ish

I've just seen them naked-eye. Does that count?

sure does AM good spot, hoping to see them myself but missed the window earlier in month, apparently they weren't far from moon and jupiter just after sunup

Yup, I saw a nice alignment between Mercury, Jupiter, Venus and Luna just before sunup last week. Very nice!

:envy:incredibly jealous AM, a bit of a bad south horizon here with houses blocking it a bit and cloud on the day as well.

apparently they do it again near end of month but not as close or nice.

Come to think of it, I missed Mercury, but did see Jupiter, Luna and Venus fairly evenly spaced. Still, it was something to see.
