I have a f6.3 reducer/corrector and a newly acquired light pollution filter to be used with a Canon 1100D moded camera. What order should these be connected to the telescope?

As far as I know, the position of the filter is not that critical. The position of  the focal reducer is key with respect to the image plane in the camera is more critical. I used the standard off-axis guider from Celestron behind the reducer, which meant I could not shorten the optical path between camera and reducer sufficiently to insert the LPR filter in between (a clip filter would be ideal), so I put the LPR filter between the focal reducer and scope (SCT mount type filter). This did extend the optical path, but gave me reasonable results.

I think the correct distance for the f6.3 is 105mm from the DSLR side of the f6.3 to the Sensor.....

Celestron has a couple of SCT->T2 adapters which get the right distance to the T2 flange (which is at a fixed distance from the image plane)

Thanks for feedback. I will add the filter between the reducer and back of the scope as suggested and see what I can see!
