Megrez 72 micro focuser removal

Hello again!

I'm in the process of purchasing a Sharpsky auto focuser and Dave, the builder, has asked me to confirm the size of the drive shaft diameter on the focuser. However, I cannot for the life of me get the micro focuser off the focuser! I either have a hex key too big or one too small...nothing that fits!

If anyone owns one could they let me know the size I need to be able to remove it please? And if possible the diameter of the drive shaft of the focuser so I can let Dave know.
