Formally recording saturn occultation

Hi folks,

Im looking at organising an observing event for my society covering the occultation of saturn by the moon in late october.

To add an element of research to the session I was hoping someone could point me in the direction of what recording could be made for timings etc and whom we would need to submit these to in order to add to some research etc.

I must admit I havent looked too much in to it yet but I wondered if the BAA would have a formal reporting system etc or if there is something similar.
