Control Program for older Hutech modified Canon Rebel 300D

I used to be able to use this camera with the first version of BYEOS up to a 30s exposure and USB cable. Now I got the newest version, and it no longer recognizes the camera.

Is there another control program besides using the Canon Utilities?

You need APT from here, I use it and is superb and regularly updated, better than BYEOS in my opinion anyway

APT does not support the 300D.

But it is listed on there website as being supported.....must be wrong I guess or not updated recently

If you look at the table on the APT website it gives nots 3 & 5 against the 300D, and lists these as:

(3) Works only under Windows XP. There is no 300D driver for Windows 7.

(5) Digic 1 cameras are not supported at this stage. 

The 300D is a Digic 1 camera and has not been supported by Canons SDK for a number of years.
