A first attempt at AP. Very simply done with a canon ixus digiscoped (with the wrong size bracket but it more or less stayed where I meant it to stay)

102mm F10 achro, 8mm BST explorer eyepiece. So it's all quite cheaply done

That was looking at Clavius because the floor creaters are a good gauge of resolution to test my new scope.

Single image, no stacking and apart from setting the camera to infinity I left it to do its own stuff.

that's really good for the setup !  If you have access to a software post-processing package with deconvolution in it, a spot of van Cittert dconv would really make it pop

That's very good. Stack a few and process. The detail will certainly come out. If you don't have Photoshop or some other such package, try The GIMP if you haven't already done so. It's freeware and has Curves and Levels and stuff, though I've not tried it!
