Meade LS or LT

Hi guys.

             i was wondering if any of you could help me with advice on the Meade LS or LT setups.  I'm an amateur astronomer who has been out of the game for a few years hence my inactivity on here.  Any general advice on my future purchase would be good, my last scope was a Skywatcher 300p Dobsonian which you can imagine was highly unwieldy even for a 6ft alpha male.  Any advice on other scopes which are a cassegrain with computerised functions would be very helpful.

On this forum Meade come quite low on the popularity ratings after Skywatcher, Celestron ,Vixen etc. You may be better off looking at a US forum such as Cloudy Nights  http://www.cloudynights.com/page/index.html where you may get more feedback.

In that respect then they must be overpriced and poor if people on this forum dont rate them.  i am looking at the celestron CPC800 GPS XLT because looking at the reviews on it it looks like a lot better bit of kit.
