Cleaning solar scope objective.

Today I got my Baader wonder fluid and cloth, only purchased because my ZS 66SD had some sap looking stuff on it after much abuse (read climbing over fences etc. in the dark fighting through hawthorn bushes with scope over shoulder) and it was looking rather bad.

What amazing stuff, within seconds my Zenithstar looks like new, which in turn made me clean all my well used optics . Why did I wait this long to try it???? On to the big question now....

Has anyone used this on a solar scope , it states not to use it on plastics etc and it has obviously been designed to be used on standard type optic coatings. My little Lunt is my most used scope and is starting to look very grubby, lots of cling-on's that will not blow off.

If not what do you use?
