eos 70d video (720 with 3xor 10x)

hi folks  this got going when I bought the camera last month .

although the quality goes down but you can record with 3x or 10x built in zoom

would this work for the planets on my old konus sky 8" f5 reflector .

I can guide for a session to get as many frames as I would need.

yes you can use the movie mode for planets

id you get BYEOS it allows you to use x5 or x10 zoom as well

that's good news I did a quick try on the moon through my 80 ed on tried 3x and you can record.

would I need to convert the film for registacks or does it read the canon format.

run the files you save through PIPP first, this normally sorts out any issues with format
registax's has no issue with files saved from BYEOS or APT but I have never tried the canon raw movie mode
so can't comment on how it will work
