Eyes perfect for astronomy.

Suspect very little more if any.

Same wavelengths so not into IR, just makes more use of what enters the eye. Since the resolution is likey unchanged, assumes the rod, cones and lens are normal then it will be similar to an 8" scope with average silvering and an 8" scope with a higher reflection silvering.

Seems to be an old story doing the rounds again, one report was in 2012.

Thanks Ronin.

I'd already guessed it was a bit too X-MEN to be true but given that you doubt cats eyes would make much difference in astronomy anyway has none the less come as a bit of a disappointment. Looks like we will have to live with evolution only giving us antimatium claws, ability to read other peoples mind, manipulating metal etc. I only hope Storm is an avid astronomer as we can kiss good bye to those cloudy nights :D
