Stolen Scope - Mead LX200 10" - Please share, look out for second hand sales.

Meade LX200 10" SCT - Equtorial Mount - Remote Control - Eyepieces and Motorised Focus Unit.

The above item was recently stolen last week.

For the owner an 85 yrs old - who unfortunately lost his wife earlier this year - this is a devestating blow.

The Equipment was stolen from his property at Wereham, Near King's Lynn, Norfolk, late Friday Night / Early Hours Saturday Morning.

If you are offered any Astronomical Equipment that you are unsure of its provenance - Call the Police Immediately !!!  By working together - lets make this equipment TOO HOT TO HANDLE !!!

Please share this info where ever possible. It might be a planned steal to order, but someone somewhere may know where it is or have seen one being sold on the cheap?

Police have been informed apparently. It's probably a dead end. But The local Kings Lynn Astro Society Chairman asked me to share this info just in case anyone knows anything. Always worth a shot.
