hi everyone,

just got in from doing some imaging. First go using new camera, finderguider and BYEOS. however, i saw all the photos on the BYEOS screen then when i unplugged the camera they all vanished :/ have i just been a complete idiot and deleted almost 2 hours of work (sitting inside on my comfy sofa while BYEOS does the work :p ) or are they stored somewhere?

I checked on the camera and they are not on there. I have a VERY bad feeling.

Cheers

PS. the image atttached is the change log from when i unplugged the camera

Hi,

They should be stored on the PC somewhere, but I always check the box that says to save to memory card and PC. So you always have two copies, sounds like you have just saved to PC, am not sure where the default folder is, but try C drive, BYEOS images, I use APT and I think my folder is C drive, APT, camera 1 images.

Hope that helps you find them, but I am sure they are there somewhere

No problem,

Have made similar mistakes myself over the years, you can change the folder where they are stored, perhaps make a shortcut to the folder and put on your desktop, right click mad create shortcut, and drag new shortcut onto desktop, hope I am not insulting your intelligence there, you probably already know how to do that, sory if you do.
